Rally Retro Festival Newbury August 2023

It's not on the program, it's just put on for the campers.
It was in the Black Hanger, there was a Duo on around 6pm, then about 8pm a Rock N Roll band (I can't remember who) followed by Rocking the Joint quite a good band, seen them a few times. Finished at 11pm.

Yep the last band were very good .We dont do Lion dancing ,and to be fair our bopping aint the best .

A very poor show from Funsters me thinks.

We were there but didn’t have our ear-defenders with us so sat outside but thought it was a bit volume over quality. Horses for courses.

We were in the hanger. No dancing, just drinking and chatting

Festival doesn't start until 6pm.

That was quiet for the Black Hanger acoustics are not good in there but at least it wasn't distorted.
We were in there dancing from 8:30 untill 11pm.

could any body say what happening tonight’s music wise in black hanger, time kicks off ?

We are going to both Malvern Warners rallies and the Halloween rally at Coleford . That’s about it for this year . I hope we can have a chat again soon

Looks like you are on the field where the RVOC guys where last year . At least it’s not far to empty the cassette .

Yep we are immediately behind RVOC who also have the front row of the field. A good location as it is part of the showground albeit that imposes a couple of restrictions like no generators and no vehicle exit during showtime, but even better that its discounted compared to general camping. Shame some of those in the funster area don't appreciate what they have.

That’s disappointing to hear . I can’t think of anywhere better to be parked up for this festival .
