You were on the main list all along, this is a copy list here on the forum, nearer to the event I will synchronize the two lists.

Sorry to ask more questions! We need to bring a mobility scooter, and it would have to be the larger one to work on grass/ uneven ground. So it does not fit in the MoHo garage and we would need to bring the box trailer. Would we be able to park up with the trailer? Would we be allowed occasional use of a generator if it needed charging or is EHU available?

Last time we went the ground was pretty even and good.

Cant you take a small generator for charging in the daytime?

There is a no generator rule as we are on the showground itself.

Yes that does include RVs, as they are also on the showground,
There has always been a no generator rule at Retrofest Newbury in the RVOC and Motorhome Fun rally area.

Times have changed since we last attended then as many RVs genies started up when the large generators went down.

On the rare occasion of a showground generator failing there would have been an exception made for those people who had generators.

And as a side note, the onboard generators that are installed in RVs are significantly quieter than external suitecase generators.

If you want to get down with at Newbury this August, then book this today. Book with other clubs like CAMC and be miles away from the action. Come along with us, it will be cheaper and you'll be INSIDE the showground.

I booked and paid for the Newbury Retrofestival on 20th May 2023, but can't remember if I notified MHFun that we will be arriving on the Thurs and I don't have a clue now as to how I go about finding out could you please advise me. Many thanks, gwyntaxi.

Hi Gwyn.

You do not need to do anything, for example according to the master list in Eventree you are arriving on Thursday AM.

You were added to the list in this thread when you booked in may.
The main list that we use is in Eventree which is the list that we work from, the list in this thread is a guide to let members know who else is coming to the event,
and I update it every so often when I visit this forum.

I hope that makes sense.

OK thanks for your reply, I see it now I didn't have a clue how to access the list or find out if I was on it so I asked Silk cut and he checked it out for me.

Hi adi4 , we're interested in attending. Before we book can you confirm that's it's ok to arrive Thurs 10th and leave Mon 14th ?

Hi there.

Arrival is from Thurs 10th 9am, and all vehicles have to leave the showground by 12 midday on Monday 14th.
