dont own one yet!
Hi Everyone!
we are looking at getting a 4 Berth Motorhome, for me and my husband our two small dogs and two Grandsons (who will be with us frequently!] can anyone recommend one under 6M we don’t want a fixed bed at rear! And have been looking at overhead bed at front and either bunk beds or u-shaped lounge at rear. Ideally on a fiat chasis. Any recommendations please as we are going round in circles Looking. We went to the Motorhome show Sat to get some ideas, but it always comes back to size. They were mostly too long.
really appreciate any feedback please.

many many years! since I was a kid
panel van or coach built?

There are loads of possibilities, but all have compromises. A few panel vans use the 5.99m long van

Our EuraMobil Terrestra A570HS is under the 6 metre length and sleeps 4 plus has belts for 4. A rare van in the UK but lots to be found LHD in Germany as the rental companies like the make due to their solid construction. The make specialises in fully winterised models having double floors. The HS models have a rear U shape lounge, the A refers to the Alcove. Currently the model available but very similar is the "Activa One AO 570HS" selling without the add ons for 67350 Euros. There is a slightly shorter model but a different configuration. If it is anything like mine you can fit two Flogas 11kg gas bottles in the locker (note that Calor 13kg will only fit one). There is a UK dealer but they only supply to order. Advice from the works in Germany is brilliant. I am i the West Midlands post code B75 if you want to be able to see my 2009 to judge for yourselves. PM me. Having seen an Active in the flesh it looks even better than mine, IMHO

Rude question, but budget is everything?

If cheaper end, older Hymers are great vans and the smaller ones fit your criteria

Swift Bessecar 584
Exp
Since April 2019
Ha.......... This will stir a few moans but we have Swift Bessecar 584, 4 birth. Great for grandkids, although you will have to make their bed up every night.... but hey that's life. We have a "bathroom" at rear, so they can close door for privacy and we take an additional awning for extra space outside if we have them for longer than weekends. Trouble is they are now getting older, so not sure whether we can have any more holidays with them in MHome.

We love our MHome and not sure if there is anything we would change, other than downsizing in the future.

Good luck and enjoy. Living the dream. SMUDGER55

Rapido & Bongone
For a 6m 4 berth with dropdown bed i would recommend a Rapido 604f or 604ff only made 2018, 2017. The earlier 600 is possibility only a 3 berth .ours is brill. Rare only 40 imported. With 6m vans there will be compromises, the living and cooking area is surpurb bathroom rather small. Get to know what isnt too important. 6m chausons have tiny kitchens but ridiculously large waste of space (in my opinion) bathrooms.
Winterised. Gas wise cupboard 15kg butane 11kg gaslow.
