Hey folks

We picked up our 1st MH this afternoon (as title) and after a long (incident free) drive home we're looking at a small number of changes... it's really nice, and we're pleased with it but...

Firstly - the cooker and the sink have to go. Nothing wrong with them except that they're green. And a bit battered. They have to go.

So where can I get replacements?

The cooker is a Spiniflo Integrill, about 490mm square with a 3 burner hob and an oven/grill.
The sink is the same shade of green, about 620mm by 420mm.

Oh - the mixer takes (gold, tarnished) also needs to go!

Help please!

Many thanks,

SM

You need to look at websites such as Leisureshopdirect, Magnums and O’Leary’s. You may see similar products but under a different name as now part of Thetford. Do you really want a green sink though.

Thanks Mike. That's why they have to go. They are green.... not even a nice green!

They're not the dark green ones are they? Show every water mark? Like this?

The only thing I would say is be careful about replacing them as some Autosleeper aficionados will get upset and it 'could' affect future resale value ... I kid you not!

They're the ones!
I hope you are kidding!!!!!

You should see the Duetto they have a red sink and cooker.BUSBY.

Look for caravan breakers in your area if you're handy with a screwdriver I've got a 2000 AS talisman and a lot of the internal stuff is the same, hope you get it sorted .happy vanning!

Hey folks - thanks for the replies.

Is it feasible to have a gas hob and a microwave / grill instead of the oven?

I understand we lose the gas option for the oven.

That would be my first port of call as well

You will be very limited if you only have a microwave. Unless of course you only intend to use sites with EHU

We have the same van,,,didn't like the green sink and cooker at first but it grows on you and we hardly spend any time inside other than sleeping or touring..Tend to do most cooking outside as most touring is Europe..BUSBY..

Look on the spindly website for an idea on price, not cheap , try fleabay or gumtree, the marketplace on faceache is also a good place to look (y)(y)(y)

Thanks folks. I agree re removing the gas oven, but who am I? I'll check out the fleabay etc.
BTW - is there a video / instruction etc on how to remove the worktop over the sink? Don't mind if it's damaged as we plan on replacing it.
How / where is it fixed down?
Thanks again

Hi Nosmo, Just a long shot but I was wondering if you got rid of your cooker, we are looking for a replacement glass lid for our 2001 symbol cooker. One of the hinges has broken. We quite like the green but I was a bit shocked when I first saw it
