This related to repairing double glazed (glass) side windows, on our recent factory visit to MORELO I was talking to the guy from Zentrale Autoglass about repairing the double glazed cab side windows on A class van, they offer this service from their depot in Schlusselfeld and one other branch in Belgium I think but they would tell you, total cost indicated per side €1300 which is a lot less than main dealer prices for Hymer, N+B, Concorde, MORELO etc.

About £600 for my Le Voyageur from the factory including fitting

We had ours done, paid for by the German dealer as part of the sale, at Zentrale Autoglas Melle, wonderful, professional service with its own dedicated overnight motorhome parking with EHU/water.

I know he mentioned another depot that did Motorhomes Paul, that might have been it(y) the guy was doing stone chip repairs for free at MORELO I think he took a few cases of beer home though.

Full price. £354 for the window and £270 labour (which I thought was a bit steep) so Le Voyageur prices are a bit more competitive than Hymer. Been on order since January and arrived last month as it was a special order

Double glazed, gold plated, and a lifetime guarantee at that price I would hope. Anyone know The price of a aircraft window for comparison?

You can do it yourself for a fraction of the price, this is a company doing all the work for you so obviously they will be wanting to make a profit ;)

Just found out the price of a window in a boeing 737 was 375 USD in 2017, which is telling me motorhome spares are ridiculous, perhaps the ’water feature’ put the price up significantly 🤣
They are just plastic though and not sealed double glazed ;)

Yes , I am aware of that.
Just trying to interject a little humour into the post , especially since the comments on which ladies I admire seem to have attracted some strange comments.
Each to their own, though.😂

Thanks for this funflair Martin. As you know we have a window blown. We can't find anywhere in the UK to fix it. So far we've been managing it by putting the silverscreen on when ever we stop. That seems to keep it clear. But it will have to be fixed. So watching this thread with interest. peterc10 may be interested too.

That’s a great price, I say great price it’s what the job is worth, it’s others that are ripping people off although the service and professionalism from autoglas zentrale is brilliant.

Is that to replace the glass or a new complete window?

Yep thanks I am watching this. After my lithium fix the wallet needs a little rest but I know I will have to fix this in the near future.
