I want to access the bsb charger and the smart shunt which have been located under the front passenger’s seat. I’ve tried to remove the plastic cover (a black louvered plastic swine that doesn’t shift!).

I can’t see any screws so presume it just clicks in somhow. I’m fearful of trying to prise it off too strongly in case it breaks. Is there something I’m missing or is it just stiff and I should persevere with trying to lever it off with a large flat blade screwdriver? Sorry I didn’t take a photo of it when at the van earlier but may do so when I go again next week, if necessary.

If it is on a Fiat based cab unit then the louvred fronts do and will hinge down, I have snapped the passenger one in my van trying but I did find the Jack etc.
I’m sure someone will be along soon saying which way the clip needs depressing.

Well it’s a Peugeot boxer base but I understand they’re pretty similar to Fiat based cabs.

Yep mine is on a 2015 Boxer and the fronts of both front seat bases both do hinge down

Hope this helps

From memory (8 years since I had the standard rear on the base) the rears just clip off but need some brut force.

They pull out from the bottom XXX top not bottom (just rewatched the vid) XXXfirst and then gently ease upwards. very easy to snap (as i did recently and had to repair). i think there is a youtube that shows how.

It is a Peugeot based Bailey and it’s the rear louvered cover I need to remove. I’m trying to figure out @RedFrame’s helpful photos. I’ve attached a photo of the rear with the cover off showing three holes where I presume the cover clicks onto somehow.

This has been covered recently on another thread. See below or use search.

The one to the rear of the seat is removed by prising the two tabs (at the top) UP with a flat head screwdriver. At the same time pull it at the top and it should release.

Watched the video twice now but failed to see Gerry removing the rear panel. That could be me!
Anyway, thanks for the input. I’ll have another go next week.
Enjoy your weekend.
