So just in typical fashion 1st day away on our trip and some on the tension has disappeared on our flyscreen side of our remis blind on our main windup skylight.
Are these easy to retension like a roller blind in a house??
Also how do I access it, do I have to remove the complete cowling with both night blind and flyscreen side, or can I just remove a section of the cowling, so far I've seen zero screws as a place to start.

Hi Bart,
You need to remove the whole of the cowling. Put the winding handle in its closed position then if you put something in between the egde of the cowl and the roof prize it down gently till you can get your fingers in to pull it down, the cowl is just push on to a male ball in a rubber female fitting on the cowl. Tensioning is a case of winding the spring a bit more like on the Dometic window blinds.
Hope that it helps ?
