Looking to buy a camping lantern that can double up as a light for my garage at home which doesn't have any power to it.
Hence must be rechargeable and as bright as possible.
Any suggestions good people?

Great light for garage and more, got two, one stays in MH.

We use one of these, works well for us.

If you want one for use outside when camping, you might look for one that can be dimmed so it doesn't blind you or your guests when chilling in the evening.

That decathlon one says 200 lumens which sounds a little dim for what I had in mind.
The hyfive is an inspection lamp and wanted more of an omnidirectional lantern.

This looks the sort of thing I was after. Thank you. I did look on Amazon before my opening post and saw this but like to ask fellow motorhomers their opinion too.
Anything like this with even more lumens about?

I bought this for taking to Glastonbury festival, as compact, lightweight, has a hook and the ability to charge phones.
Bright enough for my needs,
Screwfix sell great rechargeable led lamps, if you need something more substantial.
Amazon product ASIN B07VWNW7H7

Does anyone know why any link posted to Amazon only shows the amazon logo but can't see or open any link.

Interesting in that I am using adblock on Win10 but clicking on logo doesn't do anything.

I was thinking about using LED,s of some sort wired up to a 12 volt car battery ( any problems with that idea
does anyone think ?) you then could recharge the battery in your house ,as I have a garage with no electric

Ive got a couple of these, which have been great. Bought from Go outdoors.

It dosent look like they sell them anymore.
They have something similar for £20

These are 2400lm, compact and rechargeable.
We use them when repairing Network Rail properties at night. More than adequate for a garage and far easier than lumping a car battery about 👍🏼

That's a mains one I think, suspect the rechargeable one is triple that price

My mistake, Screwfix (and B&Q ) appear to have stopped selling the rechargeable version.
Toolstation have a similar rechargeable model but only 1400lm
