We have VB rear air suspension fitted on our 7 metre Dethleffs, it is really good, does anyone know if it will fit the new Fiat heavy chassis 7.4 metre van. Trying to read up on it but it’s not very clear . Thanks

I did’nt think there was much difference between the light or heavy Fiat chassis, the light has single rear leaf springs and the heavy a double leaf spring set up. The air suspension should interchange therefore.

The heavy chassis has as a difference, larger discs and callipers and I’m not too sure that the front springs are not up rated ?

Ah, the few Maxi’s I looked at had the double springs, so if some are on the single spring then the air suspension IS interchangeable.

Yes it will. We swapped our VB Air from Fiat light to heavy - No problems at all.
