hi. I’m looking for some help for a locker door lock on a Rapido A class 2015. The key that fits the Hab door and 5 locker door locks has stuck in one of the locker door locks ( see picture).

It turns , ie locks and unlocks, but is difficult to get out. I eventually pulled it out by holding the inner part as well, then put it back and it stuck again. For now I can leave that locker unlocked. If I had WD40 with me I would try that, but I haven’t got any lubricant ( except the silicone seal spray I use on the Thetford seal)
I have searched the forum but cannot see any help there. Does anybody know how I can fix it or find instructions for removing and replacing and replacing the barrel, and where to get the barrel. There is a number in the key. It would help if I knew the make. I think I can see a logo STS. I don’t really want to change all the locks, so if necessary I could put a new “ different “ one on the gas locker

Try the silicon but don't use WD40 as Adam says graphite powder is best.
Looks the same as the ones Hymer use, you need a special dummy key to remove the barrel, I think Leisure Shop Direct sell them.

vecam i believe. sounds like one pin has failed inside the lock, trapping the key. personally i would remove the lock and handle so you can orient the key downwards to run some lubricant in. silicon spray is not ideal but will work for now. once the key is freed off refit the lock. replace asap

Thanks guys. Do I need one of those special keys to remove the lock barrel, or will it “knock” out once I have removed the inner and outer parts of the handle be removing the 2 screws?

you need the special key or a locksmith
