I'm a newbie
Good morning funsters. I have recently retired to replace the passenger side wing mirror (full unit) on my Ducati based 2008 Rapido 7090f. I ordered what I thought was the correct model/year but the electrical connections seem incorrect. I rechecked and looked at images of OEM products and it would also seem my "original" is the one at fault... Unless I'm getting something fundamentally wrong. Do any of you kind grows have any ideas what's going on here? Any info appreciated. I have attached images of my connector as well as an internet image of what I believe to be the OEM connector. Cheers. šŸ˜‰

Hi
Some of the Ducato vehicles have the radio aerial inside the nearside mirror head, could this explain the different connections?

It's possible but not sure how I tell or if this is the case where do I a direct replacement without going to a dealer? šŸ˜‰

A few years.
New mirror got a heating element?
I would be tempted to remove the old mirror connector by extracting the pins, noting wiring colours. Remove new connector block and fit the old one on the new mirror.

check what operations your opposite mirror has. you need 2 for the indicator, 2 for the large mirror, if you have the lower mirror 6 and if heated 8.if you have the Ariel its a separate wire.
