You will have to bare with me newbie !!! 2013 with 150hp motor not sure which box ? Heard there was a reversing problem with the fiat .

It will be a comformattic gearbox which is ok , don’t think their was a reversing problem with it , 150hp is good , just watch payloads

Thanks for that , it's been plated at 3700 but have read that payload can be an issue

Check when the cambelt was done etc. Damage to the panels outside, especially the rear corners high up. If it’s got carports, lift them up…
If it’s got the drop down bed, pull it down and get up/in and check for damp round the roof lite area.
Oh, and welcome to Fun 👍

I have one on a 2015. It’s 160bhp with a comfortmatic gearbox.
It drives lovely. We sometimes tow a car and you wouldn’t know it was on the back.
Make sure that the airbag light isn’t on. Having recently been through this “known” Fiat fault, it’s costly!
As for workmanship, I’ve had no problems. I think it’s put together very nicely.
The bathroom is the only compromise, it’s compact and bijou. The lounge area makes up for that, so spacious.
I was lucky in that I purchased privately from the first owners. It had been looked after and loved.

Good luck with the viewing 😊

I had a 150hp Auto plated at 3700Kgs. Great van with spacious lounge. Not the biggest of underfloor lockers but still room for chairs etc.
After various vans I've returned to the same layout with a Frankia 640.

Well I've gone and done it !! Purchased 63_plate 9048 df Rapido , first impressions very happy performed well on long journey home . Will just have to learn all the little things now .
Would like to say i find this site extremely useful with all advice given and offered .

Interested in Rapido 9048 MH. Living in Limerick, Ireland, does the 63_plate indicate a 2013 model? How do you find the MH?

Yes 63 plate starts September 13. Having been away a couple of weekends it's performing very well , both me and her indoors like the layout great for 2 , sleeping 4 would be a faff

Yes, my MH is getting old, my kids are not kids anymore (19, 22) and looking for a MH for my other half with the option of meeting up with children who may sleep over now and again. In your 9048 does it have a dividing table? I have seen in a youtube video that this will allow someone to sleep on the bench and someone on the table, with the stairs to the dropdown bed used, so all can access the toilet at night if needed. The only other issue I have is in my current MH I bring a spare toilet cassette, i.e., for wild camping during weekends (allowed here). In the 9048 I am not sure if I can store a cassette in the side of the MH, as the access point does not seem to be wide enough. In my current MH I store it in an outside locker.

It's worth joining the Rapido Owners Club on FB

I am in the owners club , and yes you do need to own one . You can join the interest group which some questions will be answered .
Mine has the single table , and as no kids ,grandkids or overnight interlopers allowed will not be using other bed lol .As for a spare cassette storage there is a thread on here somewhere about a bracket being made for under van storage looked good also. Definitely no room in lockers .

Examined this item Spare Cassette Do you think this solution is a possibility in your 9048? Wondering is there enough space underneath due to the double floor.

Yes definitely I have a bracket to hold milenco ramps in place which fit no problems
