Just started!
As the subject says, where is the 12v distribution panel on a 2000 Lunar Roadster 720?

Our leisure batteries don't appear to be supplying the 12v distribution circuit and I need to create a connection.

Any suggestions would be appreciated :)

The electrics were a bit of a mess and all I know is, there's no cables going from either of the two leisure batteries to any 12v distribution board! The only connections from the leisure batteries are:
1. To the solar Victron controller
2. Link to 2nd leisure battery
3. Link via voltage sensitive relay to engine crank battery

and that's basically it - there's no link to any 12v fuse holding distribution board and this is what I need to correct! I don't even know where this would be located in my van.

Thanks for the reply :)

StitchUp I had a 2000 roadstar 780 from memory there is no 12v distribution board. There are fuses in the circuits but they are located in various places not all in one place. The wiring may well concentrate around the master control panel (a CMS board from memory) As i said the fuses were in a different place I found the fuses for the 12v lights under the floor of the wardrobe, others were under the lounge seating.

lunarman thanks for your comment.

I'm having some difficulty understanding what the leisure batteries are actually doing as the only connection is to the inverter they don't seem to be powering any of the 12v peripherals at all - maybe that's how it is!

The CMS2000 Controller panel is not illuminating at all so I have no control over any of its functions - this is what I'm going to concentrate on for the moment - I wonder if the CMS2000 board should be powered from the leisure batteries?

It's quite clear that someone has been messing with the wiring as it's so untidy - it's a mess.

Wish I had some sort of circuit diagram for the Lunar but that's unlikely since they went out of business :(

Not sure if this will reflect what you have but this is from a 1999 Landstar/Roadstar manual

Thanks so much for that, together with another I found under a seat in the van this morning, it'll be a great help :)

Might help others too :)

One comment about these - a bit off topic I think. The consumer unit on the mains inlet could definitely do with a bit of an upgrade. It shows an on/off main switch and a couple of mains wire fuses. Even something as old as the other drawing shows an RCD and some MCBs, preferably double-pole MCBs.

That mains wiring is definitely dated, and if you don't upgrade the consumer unit, then make sure you always have the correct polarity by observing the polarity light. Make up an adapter cable that will correct the polarity if it is reversed.
