Woke up to find it in our hedge! Wish we’d taken a photo but wanted to get it before it flew off and did any damage to the van.
We really have had our moneys worth, it’s one of the original design, has done 5 long spells in Spain, lots of short trips and has been up in our garden since March when lockdown started. Over the course of the summer some of the stitching has been starting to go but the fabric of the roof is shredded.

We will certainly buy another. It is most satisfying when something really is completely and utterly worn out. Son goes back to Uni in one week so pretty good timing as they can now use the conservatory.

I particularly want a Quest one, but thanks.

Thought this was Quest but the new lighter version (matches other online adverts). The other type is the Pro.

I’ll get a message over to IW to let them know it’s very confusing not including the brand. (Wife works there)

So I like the idea of these, are they really 1 minute for one person to put up and take down?
Are they robust in wind?
Do the side walls mesh protect well from the sun?

Are there other makes good or better than the quest?

Points for..
A. I can carry it quite easily.

B I can put it up in 2 minutes (excluding ropes IF I decide to bother using them)

C I can take it down in one minute. (Remember the way you unfold it and do in reverse..)

I wouldn't leave it up in GALE force winds but ordinary winds are ok as there are guide ropes as well as pegs.

Yes they protect from sun.. In rain you might need the side sheets.

So, are you using these instead of a connected awning to MoHo ?

That was my intention I don't like attached awnings even though we have a full length one, since I saw one fly over the top of a van.

It would normally have withstood these winds to be honest but the stitching on one of the storm straps came away and a couple of the big peg down holes had already come off after years of heavy use, far beyond what it was supposed to be used for.
They can be put up and taken down in a minute or two . Even with pegging down it only really takes about 5.

I bought the Pro version from them last week. They were the only company I could find who had stock. Free delivery.

We have used ours at Shell Island in very strong winds..
The pegs gave out and it nearly went missing, but the Quest its self was all good.. We have used it for about 5 years now

Thanks for showing me this I was considering a connected awning but I like the look of this and it’s a good price, but I may wait until the new year as it wouldn’t get much use this side of Christmas, with the weather ready for turning and the fact that we will want to get up to Scotland after the dustbin kids go back to school And of course it would probably take off up there.

Question if I may.........Do all sites now allow these ? I thought they were classed as a 'Gazebo' and a lot of sites give a look of thunder if you mention one?

Really interested in one but dont want to buy one if it offends the majority of site folks

We have just bought the 4Pro Quest from Norwichcamping. Delivery was in 48hours by FedEx.
Very pleased with it so far. It is standing up in very strong winds here in Stonehaven.

Never had any problems on sites and ma lot of the single lady meets we have several up at a time.

There may be an issue at the moment though due to Covid? I guess they reduce the distance between campers.

What movan Joy said we love ours best accessorie we've bought they had them at Malvern Quest they were green not blue but didn't note name of stands there were two traders selling there .just the four side no 4x4 or Hexegon that I saw anyway .

We have it on the pitch beside the van just now on the CAMC site. As long as it’s within the pitch, no problem.
Last site we were on i pitched it on the grass and made to fit it within the pitch headstanding by the warden.

I might just get Kev to get his wallet out! .......We need one!
