Has anyone stayed over here?
This is just out of quriosity. We are in Carnoustie, just about 5 miles from above location. Everytime we travel through Arbroath there is an ever increasing number of Motorhomes/Campers parked up there these days, usually about 15-20.
I understand the benefits of parking off-site but there really is not much there. Thats maybe just because we are local we dont see the appeal.
I would think it is only a matter of time before Angus Council jump on the bandwagon and try making money out of it, considering they have recently made all car parks paying.

I am guessing that this is the car park listed on Park4night as being at Ladyloan. Reviews suggest it is popular and so are the smokies.

We stay there when going for smokies, there have been vans there for as long as I can remember. There is quite a financial benefit to the town, as almost everyone there spends money in the town. There is a well worn path to the chip shops at the harbour. We stock up our freezer at the spinks smokehouse when there.

We visited the town some years back when we were shed draggers though we left the shed on a site elsewhere. First time I’d had a ‘ Fish Supper ‘ , I normally have fish and chips . The smokies were great too .
