Pub Stopover near Pompey

Hi Folks after spending the last 4 winters stuck in the U.K. (working and site sitting) we are off again on our travels, we are heading down to Spain from Pompey. The good lady has booked a vet appointment in Havent on the 6th, ferry on the 8th, so we have to find somewhere to stay, she has come up with the idea of a pub stop over any advice please.

Port Solent allows motorhome stop over. You just need to phone security when you arrive. You will find the phone number on notice boards throughout the car park. Port Solent has a number of restaurants one of which is a weatherspoons.

That photo is out of date they don't like you parking in that area now they like you to park just to the right of the roundabout, circled in red.
