Just a tad..
Not sure I could live with one of these with an 80kph top speed, but I think this would literally take you anywhere!

Wow. It says it's for sale but can't see a price?

It would be fabulous in the desserts but a long long trip to get there

I saw a smaller Russian military truck , Gaz, based motorhome for sale at the War and Piece show a few years ago. Top speed about 50 mph and about 10 mpg. Not very practical in the modern high speed traffic and not something the local motor factors would stock parts for.

It is what most Fiat 1,9 non turbo diesels do. & yes in the Uk most people behind you don't realise that you are going to change gear 3 times befor you have got to 25mph when joining traffic & they accelerate out behind you & find they have nowhere to go, then lay in to the horn as though them being complete twats is your fault.
**reminds me of many years ago here looking at a 3 way tipping Tatra truck. Frightening was the only word. :Eeek:8 cyl petrol if I remember correctly?

My mate bought one that was an ex army anti radiation contagion vehicle.
We changed the Detroit copy V8 petrol engine for a Cummins diesel just to get 20 MPG out of it. :swear2:

Any body want to buy a Russian V8 engine? :hugs:
