Problem applying for CritAir

Trying to apply for a CritAir but the pictures I’ve taken of the V5 using my iPhone are to big to send.
What’s the best simple thing to do.
Do I need to send pages 1-2-3 or will 1-2 be ok?

You just need to upload page 2 the page with vehicle details, if you open the logbook its the left hand page

As I remember they have to be sent in a very low quality about 400kb but don’t quote me you need to reduce the image size in your email if you click it will give you different image quality options

My biggest issue was getting the image small enough for it to be accepted. I can't remember what finally worked. Rediculous

As Rollingwheels says, take photo and send photo to yourself via email where you have a choice to reduce file size. Use this and send off. Job done

Ok, just emailed it to myself reducing it to the smallest size.
Save it to my pictures then upload it to the CritAir site and still telling me it needs to be under 2mb.
What am I doing wrong

When you email the photo there is a choice to reduce the file size before sending to yourself.

Save the email photo to your photos and you should then be able to use it for the Crit’Air online form.

If you take a photo of it then prepare the email on my iPad where the line for cc is below the email address on the end there is an image button you can then resize from there

Download a compression file, take the photo and the file will allow you to compress it to the required size, my experience of the French site it has its off days, hope that helps

Save your small (53.9 KN) photo to your photos and not confuse it with any larger photo file. Use this on your form
