I need a bike which is lightweight and fits in the garage of Russell (our van). I have to keep the weight down so Russell's Mum can take all those "just in case" items ( approx. 2 tonnes worth) with us while we tour France. I did consider just purchasing a Fireblade or R1 and just paying the fines issued by the Motorhome Weight Police, as the sheer pleasure of hooning around on a good bike far outweighs the potential monetary pain, but now.............
I think I've found the answer!!!!!!
Only fly in the ointment is that Russell's Mum doesn't fancy the pillion comfort. I just can't please her these days!

A few years back we Sailed into Guernsey.
Looking for something to do on a Sunday other than pubbing we went to some supermarket car park, where they were racing those on a made up circuit. Big guys some of them, and they weren't hanging about. Right up Jaws Street.

I'm looking forward to rocking up in France on the Suzuki Address in full Triumph leathers (my last bike was a Trumpet). Being a Scot I'm too tight to buy new gear for the Scooter.

What about a mini motorcycle with a sidecar? These turned up at Girvan (Scotland) yesterday and looked like fun!

Is this the car park on the front ? Who’s being a plonker? Tables and chairs out in the car park, why do people do this, it’s a car park not a camp site, they are taking up 2 car parking spaces doing this, no wonder none Motorhomer/s get past off with us 👿

Have to wonder why we get bad press and banned from car parks…..the awning must have also been out at some stage as the winder is still dangling in its place and is that a Fun sticker on the bonnet 🤷🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️

It was even worse, they had 2 tents pitched on the grass behind too at one point!
