Morning all
Is there a link on here on getting your m/h ready for a new season after winter drain down, only asking because it’s our 1st year of owning a m/h and still a bit daunting .

As we have used our Moho a few times over the winter I have become adept at filling up and draining down.

Sort of in this order...

Check that the solar panel has kept both batteries topped up.

Close all the drain taps and start filling the fresh water. For the truma frost protector push the button in then twist at the top. Run all the taps and get the pump going as it will splutter for some time. It takes about 10L of new water to clear the air out of all the pipes. I like to drain that wasted water straight away but parked on a slight slope there is not enough to get to the waste pipe so I use the hydraulic jacks to tilt the van on its side and that means I know that the jacks are working.

If we are going away and it may be cold then I just make sure that the heating comes on.

Put the fuse for the fridge back into the fuse box and close the fridge door. This is how I know that the light is off when the door is open.

Bring the fresh bedding out of the house and help Mindy make the beds.

Make sure all my tools and gadgets are on board.

Load up with clothes, food and drink and beer.

Off we go ?

Thanks for the tips
Happy motorhoming to you both ?

I move the van a few feet every week so I can get the wheelie bin out of the side gate so I know if I have any major engine starting or running problems.

A quick glance at the Tyre Pal display tells me that the tyre pressures are ok.
