Pre travel API no longer required DFDS..

Anyone else noticed this?

We are crossing Dieppe to Newhaven on Monday, thought I’d better do the API details and I’m greeted with a message saying it’s all done at the port at check in!

Am I just behind with my knowledge and the ‘new norm’ has been running for a while?

If not, you heard it here first folks!

Didn't know about this. We travelled via Newhaven a week ago on Monday 26th May and completed the online form with passport details etc.

We booked a few weeks ago and filled the API out online.

Crossing from Newhaven tomorrow. Was preparing to do the API and saw the same message from DFDS.

My guess is that the change took effect from today, 1st June!
