As far is as absolutely possible we (Wife and I) are avoiding the large supermarkets to do our essential shopping, and instead using the local shops in the nearby village. This morning I called into the bakers to collet bread etc (this is a small traditional bakers). They have got clear instructions regarding social distancing for customers using their premises stuck on the window for all to see. When I entered I was the only customer in the shop, as I proceeded to place my order, another customer entered the shop, he was obviously known to the staff who ask if he was okay, he replied "Bloody Knackerd" busy shift. He then apologised for the tone and language. At this point I could feel his presence on my neck and turned to see who it was, I edged forward to increase the distance between us. I couldn't believe it, he was dressed in Hospital Scrubs, so I can only assume he worked in the HNS or Care system. Surely in the current situation shouldn't NHS / Care workers be given appropriate time to change into civilian clothing at the end of their shifts when leaving work. This is not a dig at the NHS / Care workers who are all doing a sterling and thankless task. But surely we should all be doing our best to avoid spreading the virus.
