Portsmouth low emission zone

Hi Y'all, does anyone know how I can avoid the above, we're going Portsmouth/Caen beginning of September and I have been warned about the zone?

There’s a map on this page which should help you navigate to the port without paying/entering the zone.

If you have a look at it on the map I think you will find it does not interfere with your route.

EDIT too slow on the fastest finger first.

My reading of the info in the link suggests 'no'. You can check your own vehicle online on this link, otherwise it's probably best to ask them direct.

Motorhomes over 3.5T are treated just the same as LGVs and subject to charge if not Euro 6 compliant. Access to the port from the north (M275, A3 etc.) are outside the zone so no restrictions at all. IOW ferry is inside the zone so chargeable if non-compliant.
