Hi,
Does anyone have experience of, and could recommend a portable washing machine for the motor home?

We use a twin tub similar to the one Northernraider has/had in the classifieds, works really well👍

Forgot to add we bought a used one off a funster to “try” and see if we got on with it, we did then bought a new one👍

Gave up as most supermarkets even abroad have the washing machines in the car park theses days
yep, this is the first time we've been away for more than about 10 days and necessitated finding such facilities. Considering we've never been to Belgium and all the nervousness that goes with that we managed to find a launderette in a wee town and navigate the payment machine, the washers, dryers some of which had english, most in dutch and we've done it without too much hassle.

In answer to your question,we have had one for years.Very reliable small for storage but extremely efficient it looks almost toy like but it’s very functional. Highly recommend and you don’t have to haul your undies 🤣 off site.

I bought one years ago , carted it round for a year and never used it ...sold it for half the price I paid for it . Have mostly used launderettes and hand washed

BUT

Working on a holiday park this summer I acquired 2 twin tubs from caravans that were being disposed of.

So I decided to try using one and I have tk say I'm converted , I'm really impressed just how good they are , really gets the dirt out , the spin dryer is amazing...also handy just for wet dog towels etc .

I have space in the garage to store it and it will run off just a small inverter if you don't have hookup .

I do a small load of laundry now every few days instead of waiting till I have a load for a launderette.

I had 2 so I advertised one on here but that sold the other day.

If you have space to carry one then they are very good .

I'm a convert

I did the same and binned mine after a year of virtual nine use.
I may look at the leisurewize twin tub models then after your comments.

Which one are you using if you dont mind me asking
I'm using a leisurewize model..

I've used both of them just to see the difference as one is a newer model than the other but both perform the same .

This is the older one although still available on ebay etc circa £140

We gave a Cosvalve twin tub. Washes and spins suprisingly well for a small machine. Ours has 1300 spin. You can wash kingsize sheet or light weight bath sheet no problem but obviously only one in at a time.
Cost less than £100 and we can run it from the Bluetti solar battery.

£30 delivered? If so I'll take it as the wife says she would love one for her knickers etc, I know of course I'll end up doing all the spinning though. What's best way to pay you?
Yup £30 all in excluding dirty washing!:giggle: I've replied to you via PM.

To be honest most are the same or with little variances . Leisurewise and streetwise is the same company, the capacities change slightly between models as does the price but all do the same thing.
