The parking has been like that for a number of years. There used to be a man who collected the money and, if you were small enough to fit within a space, you got away with paying the same as a car.Motorhome parking £10 for up to 3 hours and few shops and cafe s open and toilets shut, my first and last visit
And then he moans & asks the government for help because hardly anyone is going thereThat carpark was sold 4-5 years ago, the whole kit and caboodle, went for nearly 2 mill I seem to remember,.
Fella's only getting his money back
It is a tourist trap! Should have gone to Mevagissy, which is the cheapest in that area.
Helligan Gardens up top of the hill, that used to be very reasonable to get in, BUT! the same joker that runs the EDEN Project has run it for a couple of years, so going on his past history, you will need a 5th mortgage to get the funds to get in.
I've been having an impossible task of finding availability in Devon and Cornwall. Odd days occasionally available on different (scattered) commercial sites but also 'no day' gaps between sites. I prefer CL's but waiting for call backs before being able to look for the next one having space is soul destroying.Heligan gardens does have a very nice and reasonably priced campsite next door which gives a discount on entrance (or used to!) Walkable into Mevagissey too
