Poldark books -Winston Graham 99p on kindle today

For those who would like to read the Winston Graham Poldark series of books, books 1 through to 11 are 99p each on kindle today.

I have never read them myself , shall I buy them ? No doubt the final book will be 99p at some point in time.

I read them about 50+ years ago. I don't remember much detail but do remember I enjoyed them. Winston Graham is one of my favourite authors. He also wrote Marnie which was a Hitchcock film and one of my favourites Angell Pearl and Little God. I think he does a good job of portraying women which not every male author does.
