Hi all has anybody done the lakes in Poland and any advice please

Not been but watching with interest as we are off to Poland - including the lakes - in September.

Have a few polish friends but they have not been to the lakes not sure if there are camping Aires in Poland or wild camping ?

We passed throughthe lakes last July on our way to the Baltics.
We stayed a couple of days in Mikolajki. ( on road 16) which is a bit like Windermere. Very busy and very touristy.
We stopped on an aire with facilities in the middle of town no problem.

Campercontact never let us down even though it was mid summer.( we avoided the seaside though)

The main roads were excellent , the others were very rough in places.
Poland is lovely. The people are great and the beer is very cheap.

If you are over 3.5 ton you need a via toll box . The toll roads appear randomly .
