May have mentioned this a couple of years ago but was looking for an App to record locations we’d visited and came across this one called Pinbox. Well I’m still using it as it’s simple! Downside is they don’t do an Android version so it’s iPhone users only which probably lets half of you off the hook! Upside is it’s great for nerds like me. Essentially you can create as many maps as you like. So, as an example, you might be planning a UK or European trip sometime (we live in hope) and have come across a variety of sites which you may wish to consider so you plot and mark the sites on your map and enter any comments and photos. The idea is to get an easily accessible visual overview. I use the app as a planning tool and also to record holidays with sites colour coded and points of interest ditto. As I said, not for everyone but if you do like recording stuff (the nerdy bit) you’ll like this.
