Hello
We have a Pilote Galaxy 78s A Class Motorhome with a Fiamma awning attached.
We bought a vango airbeam awning a couple of years ago, but have always had issues attaching it (we have to partly use the rails to tie to and then thread straps under the solar panel and decide on the other side of the vehicle. This makes it tricky to put up so we haven’t used it much.
We need to use this again soon so I was looking for easier ways to attach.
I have seen the Vango Driveaway Fixing Kit - 4m Fiamma online and have watched a video on how it attaches to the fixed awning. My question is - has anyone tried this on a similar vehicle? I am worried that the height of the awning will be too low and no clearance for our door to open.
Can anyone suggest any other ways that we can perhaps attach to the MH without having to do as described (throwing lines over, threading through solar panel etc)?
I have attached photos to show the vehicle / current way that we have set it up.
Any advice gratefully received.
Thanks in advance
