Use the pre release time to sit and play with all the toys on board. Run the heating- hot water, use the shower Hose the van down all over checking for water ingress and try and put everything to test without moving. I appreciate you expect nothing is wrong but you never know?. Then if anything starts playing up, you can get it booked back into workshop ASAP. After 29th March take it out on day trips and then push it more.
Not putting a downer on anything but the 1st 30 days after purchase gives you a great deal of consumer protection. Sitting not being used for that time would be wasted if things were not as should be.

Have fun, I remember when we picked both our new vans up. You just can't stop smiling and planning, Where is your first trip too

Yes, good time to play around on the drive for a few weeks. We have booked a few sites Suffolk way from April 12th and down to South coast to catch up with family in May. Long term plan is more distant trips like Scotland/Cornwall and when Covid allows, extended European trips.

Very exciting, enjoy it. Must admit we’ve bought from new twice and despite all the niggling teething problems we’d do it again. There’s something magical about it if you can afford to. Admittedly both have been from IH and their aftersales is good though, you actually get to speak to humans.

Very nice indeed - The cab colour is fab too.

That said, you're a brave man. We didn't eat in our last new van for about the first 4 months in fear of getting crumbs or stains on the seats and carpets, lol.

Enjoy it ;-)

Indeed, I think you will miss out on Scotland before the midge season starts this year. Cornwall will be manic anytime before September. We have done Cornwall twice in September's, outstanding weather each time. Much easier to wild park up in September. If you do head that way do not be put off with the parking restrictions a bit of forward planning gets you at the best spots first thing in the morning.

Well done to you both and would love to know what trips you would like to go on when allowed ? What bed layout do you have there ? singles or island ? . You will have to change your seriously looking now to Burstner !

May you have good health and happiness in your new van. Enjoy 👍😷🥃

Referring to your avatar, do you have a VX22O? (Having said that, my van is nothing like the one in my avatar.)

I can answer that one, yes! We were both members of a VX220 club back in 2004 (ish).

Have you had one?

Yes. VXT since 2004 and I still enjoy driving it. Did you go to the meeting at Lotus to coincide with production of the last car?

Singles at the back above the garage- which can be made into king size buy putting the extra 'mattress' in the gap. Singles were a must as I sleep very light an often get up early. Getting out easily and quietly to go somewhere else without disturbing the other half is a must.

3 weeks. It was already on the forecourt - not a factory order.
