Mrs Ukeman just seen on Beeb Phil Spector has died. One of the greats of the past with his wall of sound and all the other stuff he has produced or been involved with. Complex guy but his fascination with guns didn’t do him any favours leading to his downfall from grace For the murder of a woman. Al

He did not help the Beatles. Paul hated what he did on the Let it Be album. You can buy Let it Be naked, which has the wall of sound taken out. Quite different, and imo better.

Yeah....maybe wrong saying RIP ! Despite him being one clever sod earlier on as per the general, I haven’t forgiven him for the echo effect he left on the Lennon Rock an Roll album but there you have It. He can’t undo it now.
