We have a 2022 fiat based set up and during day its fine but when we set it using fiat key at night having issues. How do we set for pet mode with key as been told normally arm and press again but if we open a cab door it sets alarm off. Dont seem to have a lock/unlock on dash. Normally dont lock cab doors at night with two dogs etc. Going to put in service mode and have a play over weekend as set off twice trying this  .
Didnt bring phantom remote with for buttons as dont carry it normally.

Night mode disables the internal movement sensors only.
Opening a door will trigger the alarm.
agreed but this means if we have to have to let dogs out in the night we have to disarm and re arm in the night as cant lock cab doors manually

We can set night mode from inside the motorhome but only with the Phantom key fob - from memory it was the bottom left of the four buttons, but that's a Sprinter chassis. But it would go off if you opened a cab door without disarming the alarm first. Perhaps give Phantom a call, we found them very helpful.

That's the whole idea of night/pet mode.
Alarm set any movement inside does not trigger it, open the door from inside and it will set off...............in case someone outside tries to get in it will go off.

That’s correct, the alarm is protecting y from people opening your doors whilst you are asleep. If you don’t want that don’t set the alarm. No other way of locking vehicle from inside without central locking and alarm activatin.

Thanks yes agreed perhaps should of worded originally different. We main had alarm fitted for when parked up on the roadside, aire etc as we have a garage. But when on most sites only want to lock doors manually. Habitation is easy but cab doors have no means of doing this.....

Pushing the lock button on the dash will lock the doors without setting the alarm.
Unfortunately we haven't got that function on either drivers door or centre console. Presumably when alarm was fitted it was removed and alarm indicator retro fitted
Will have to keep using alarm at night....

That’s a strange one, we have a 22 Fiat Ducato and there is the lock button on the console and drivers door arm

Why would you want to set it on night mode when you are in it and with two dogs.
You can lock the doors by the switch on the dash next to the hazards.

He said he does not have that switch?
Sorted thanks all very much, removed switch earlier and plug on rear wasnt fully pressed in , guess when dealer fitted alarm- Im sure you can figure the rest out.;)

Tested alarm earlier whilst in service mode and interior sensors don't pick you up until you touch them, siren has a plug in connection in plain sight on bracket in picture and bonnet switch looks a bit moody. Dealer approved fitter uuummmm
