Just read an article on giving permission to park on your property, this guy in Plymouth gave permission for someone to park his van on his drive, that was December last year the Police, Council didn't want to know, finally he has found ( section 13 under Torts Law) this states he can dispose of the vehicle after giving reasonable notice, his Solicitor advised to do this in writing ( he has to find the blokes address) and give the Owner of the 2 weeks notice, after which he can dispose of van.
I thought it might be of interest, especially if you have in-laws you don't get on with who have parked their motorhome on you drive !! 🤔😄

Has it been dumped there cooling off with false plates
Buy the traveling community?
Have had some dumped in our cp over the years in Plymouth.
Didn't it use to be that an add placed in the paper was good enough notice and a sticker on the van.
Move it or loose it.

In the article it said he had asked him to remove the van and the bloke refused so he must have seen him some time

Not having read the full article a bit in the dark

I reckon he shot himself in the foot.
I would have had it dragged into the road and denied any knowledge.
