Hello friends, I’m looking at going to Penzance soon in my motorhome I want to fish, walk and visit st Michaels mount. Any suggestions on camp sites?? Many thanks Neil

We are at Dove Meadows, fully booked, all nearby car parks that we saw were packed. To cap it all the great British public are busy littering and letting their dogs foul the beach.

Are you a member of either of the main clubs? Do you want on-site fishing or sea fishing?

Sennen Cove campsite is nice plus there are probably a few Temporary Holiday Sites if you are a member of C&CC.

Depends on what you are looking for. We usually stay at Bone Valley Caravan Park when visiting family Ejaydee nearby and are more than happy with it but some reviews are less than complimentary.

I was recently sent a link to a new CL Nearby but have yet to try it.

It is fabulous! Check the tide times if you want to walk across as the causeway floods

Looking at their website, you have to pre-book at the moment.

It’s 15 mins from Penzance, but I like Cardinney campsite. It’s recently changed owners so I don’t know if much has changed but was always a nice quiet well presented site.

I can second Dove Meadows camp site stayed there twice now
,lovely little site 5 minutes walk to beach and village

The Caravan and Motorhome club have a no toilet / shower site in walking distance from Marazion.
