Subscribed to the MH magazine last night and was reading the payload checklist - very interesting . Initially thought we were doing quite well “don’t have that “ don’t carry that”.......... and then .......75kg per passenger ? Who they kidding
Should payload be the most important feature when buying a motorhome? Many have bought without the slightest knowledge of what it is and the implications it brings. Should dealers give this a higher priority when selling.
Just added a spare wheel to mine which weighs in at 26 kilos. I was thinking of carrying it on the bike rack but somehow managed to get the green light from the missus to fit it in the wardrobe. Telling her what has to be discarded to compensate is going to be another discussion, one I'm not looking forward to
John has changed his bike we have already streamlined what we will be taking and been over the weighbridge. He might have to ride it home to allow for our usual wine cargo though ?
