Sitting in Portsmouth docks awaiting the 21.30 departure for Santander. Went through check-in but just noticed no stamp in passports. Have heard various, horror stories around this and the 90 day rule, would appreciate any advice!

Stamps are phasing out, new electronic border database.
Just scans your passport. Not all are on the system yet but most are

Heard all the “horror stories” too. Your time in the Shitzen Zone starts when you put your wheels on dry land. At no time did the channel or the Bay of Biscay become part of said zone. Sit back, enjoy your mini cruise and make sure your passport is stamped when you land. That is day one in the Shitzen Zone. Have a nice holiday

Our passport has been stamped every time we landed/left.

Looking forward to having stamps in my passport again! :)

Travelling next week to a bike rally in the far east of the Czech Republic for the first time since Brexshit and will see what happens when we are disgorged into the morning light in Dunkerque...

I was questioned at Santander on arrival.

We were with our 3 Grandchildren without their parents, with different surname to ours.

There was no question regarding the children, never asked for the letter of authority etc.

But the Policeman was looking at the numerous Spanish Sea and Air stamps in my Passport whilst looking at the computer screen.

He asked a few questions as to have I or am I going to apply for Spanish residency (all my Stamps in my new passport are Spanish). I explained we have a house in Spain etc. He then suggested I keep an eye on my dates as I am running low on Schengen Days.

I spoke with a Friend who is married to a Spanish Police officer who told me. When Broken Link Removed comes into effect soon. It will then I/We will need to be very careful .

We were also stopped four times in total when we left the ship

Passports
Sent to Mascotas inspection (Pets) we did not have any
Then Importation inspection - Brief check of the car (fully loaded people carrier)
Then inspected and scanned again on final port exit.

All okay. So do not panic if you are all above board. Pardon the pun
