Parking conditions on the Alarve

If anyone is on the Algarve at the moment can you give me a report as to the parking there, I'm no interested in campsite sites just wild camping in places such as Villa real, Tavira, Silves, Quartera.

I read on another forum (not sure which one) that all is well with the Algarve & "rustic camping", as someone called it.

I do hope so, as we will be down there this winter.

I read on another forum that Silves has now changed as far as parking there is concerned.
The new aire/camper stop is now operational, so is anyone there to confirm the details?

Hi Keith,

The municipal aire is sort of open, you are allowed to stay on the gravel area. All other parkings where it was sort of accepted to stay are now off limits.
