Latest oddity; DT201 display panel light on our Hymer B654 CL (06) stays on permanently. Can't see if there is a solution in the handbook, does anyone have any ideas please? Used to go off after a couple of minutes. Thanks.

Mine is different but I just tap the screen and it goes off.

What happens if you tap the 12v off button?

Panel light has been playing up for a week, and I'm no electrician, but shouldn't being on the mains produce more charge than shown in the picture below? It usually does; put a new leisure battery in today after existing one suddenly stopped holding it's charge. I am thinking something else is not right.

Whats the voltage?

Perhaps the mains charger has charged the battery at a higher voltage and dropped back to 13.7v, thus only a small current to maintain battery. Could be the battery capacity shown 54%. ? is incorrect.
Did you notice the charger initially at a higher voltage?

From memory, when mains is first connected the electroblock charger charges at 14.4 volts. It maintains this voltage for a set time which depends on the lead or gel switch setting on the ebl, longer for gel. It then drops to about 13.8v.

Does yours do this? ie disconnect mains for a minute, reconnect mains and check voltage and current.

If that appears correct, with new batteries, then suggest the capacity at 54% to be incorrect. Maybe leave for 24 hours and check capacity again. Are the new batteries the same capacity as the old? Do you need to reconfigure the capacity on the dt panel?

Edit, info on the timing of the charger at higher voltage is in the ebl manual

Readings seem to be ok now after being on charge overnicght and a quick trip to the MOT testing station (passed no probs:giggle:) except the peskiy light which will still not go off. Thanks for everyone's help.
