Overnight stops Newhaven and Birmingham

Hi will be needing an overnight stop in Newhaven late at about 11.30 in the evening. Also somewhere near NEC Birmingham prior to the Birmingham show will arriving there mid day .

I read it that he will have arrived late evening at Newhaven and be looking for an overnight stop before setting off for B'ham.
I've not overnighted there as I live nearby but it's a very laid-back port and I'm pretty sure you can stop in the port area overnight.
