E Up peeps
Since we have picked the van up there are bits and pieces not fitted that I thought would be.
One is the outside light.
The panel is this one

I would like to fit a light in between the door and the awning witch is behind the panel.
No info in the pack supplied with the van.
Can any one tell me the pin outs on the back.
Thanks.

It would appear I can't put up a picture☹️

With much p-::-;g about I think I have managed to post a picture.
This is the panel inside the van.
It's shows an outside light picture of a van.
As there is not one light fitted is there any makes to avoid in terms of quality.
But l would like it to be an LED unit.
Thanks

Believe this is the unit used by Auto-trail (part of the same group as Rimor) for their awning lights (well ours anyway).
btw the longer \ brighter version is cheaper!

Which Manufacturer please ? As even tho I am an Electronics bod by trade the Chausson wiring diagram and wiring layout to fit a simple outside light was "interesting".

Have you an awning above your outside door ? I fitted ours (an led strip) to the bottom of the anwing box and drilled the hole to get the wiring thro from the inside behind the awning box, made a neater job.

I’ve fitted LEDs along the bottom of my awning cassette. I also fitted a remote dimmer for it hidden away. Possibly a solution if you are not wanting to put a large hole in the MoHo.

Another suggestion: drill a 2mm hole through one of the awning bracket attachment bolts. Feed a wire through the hole for +12v and use the bolt itself for 0v. No extra holes in wall.:giggle:

I used Aten lighting in Melton Mowbray as their led lights work in the 8v to 30v range as the Chinese 12v lights don’t like 14v Moho‘s go up to. This is their kit with dimmer and remote so you can put the light on as you approach at night in the dark.

might be worth thinking yellow/orange light so as not to attract Bugs ?

Take your pick of colours with a rgbw strip from eBay in this case inside the Thule light bar attachment

Thanks lads I done want the strip lights.
I fitted them in the kitchen under the top cabinets and bottom plints.
Fitted with colour repeaters and transformers so all are the same brightness and colour.
Bit of a gimmick more for the kids with disco mode.
On the van I just want a light above the door to help locating the lock.
But I do want it to work of the panel in the picture as it has a repeater one at low level.
Van is a rimor seal 5
It just the pin out on the back I need and is there any plugs I need.
And a good quality 200mm led strip light.
I however had not even thought about attracting the bugs.
