Day 1 got the bus to Bath what a beautiful city!! spent a great day looking round and taking photos. Bus fare £14 squid return for two of us.
Day 2 walked the Kennet and Avon canal to Bradford on Avon. Great walk wasn't too impressed with Bradford tho there is an air of neglect about the place pity as it could be very nice. Buses then to Trowbridge. Really run down and lots of graffiti and obvious signs of vandalism. Then back to site.
Day three walked the canal to Devizes as it was market day. Much better town and the walk past the Caen Hill Flight of locks was quite an experience. Cracking day out.
Day four walked cross country to Melksham and back along the canal. Saw a Kingfisher and got a couple of photos (not great photos as i've got to get used to my new 120-400 lens) and lots of buzzards around the area.
Had two meals out at the Three Magpies really enjoyed them the, shoulder of Lamb was smahing.
All in all a great week away we both really enjoyed it. :thumb:
