Our First Trip!!

Good evening everyone!

Finally took the plunge today and bought our first MH! We are totally inexperienced and a bit daunted by it all to be honest!

Based in Sussex we are looking at planning our first weekend away in the next few weeks, looking at The New Forest or somewhere in Dorset!

Any recommendations or advice about the journey we are about to embark on would be greatly appreciated!

We love a local pub, walks with our little dog and have really enjoyed parks with on site entertainment previously. Thanks in advance, the people on this forum seem so friendly and knowledgable.

I would suggest that you spend a weekend or overnight in your van on your drive if you have one, not tooooo far to go should you have forgotten anything

At home make yourself familiar with how all the services work, fill up with water, plug in the electrics, put the heating & heater on. Make sure you know where all the fuses are & that the taps/ pump work.
