Received an email today introducing Auto Trail refresh.

Haven’t got a link as you have to email them directly, but have listed that if required.

Thought I’d pass it on, incase anyone’s interested.

So this has apparently been going a while now. I read the decals service is pricey, but is there any other feedback.
The main advantages seems to be that they should at least have the best stock of parts. Actually it should be mean they learn over time whats parts break most....

It would be interesting to know what the average cost is.

I asked for a quote to replace decals on our Arapahoe.
They replied.
Removal and replacement of new decals, full machine Polish of exterior including roof, all for £6500.00
I didn't bother to reply.

I bet they dont get many customers at that price.

Revamp!

Anyone think of a word that rhymes with 'revamp'?

Maybe the new decals are waterproof.

A complete set of graphics is £4000.96 incl VAT. I only need the ones for the bonnet and front doors, they work out at about £140 if my maths is correct and I’ve figured out which transfer is which! Don’t think that’s too gruesome. I’m going to stick the quote, suitably redacted on for your perusal. Bear in mind this is for a 2013 Autotrail Apache 632.
I’m going to photograph the front n sides of the van and send the pics to Autotrail to get a clearer idea of how much I’ll need to spend.

Cheers!

Russ

We recently got a price from them for replacing the decals on both sides of our MH but not front and back (which are OK). It was around £1600, which we are considering. They need around three weeks notice to carry out the work and about 3-4 days to do it. We have to factor in the costs of travelling to and from Grimsby from Kent - twice.

Be aware that Auto-Trail works a four day week, we were told, and is closed for the whole of August. As we plan to be in France for Sept it means that we'd be unlikely to get the work done before October if we did decide to go ahead.

Try an independant sign company or a vehicle wrapper, I used to work at one as an estimator. Should get a full set fitted for way less if you shop around. All depends on the cad time to produce the artwork. These people will already have that so that is daylight robbery.
