Other couldn’t half do with a takeaway!

It's Wednesday, that means the family will be having Chinese takeaway. Order and pay online, dropped at the door and they are sorted, same as last 2 weeks.
Should be my pub night and a meal out but may end up with some toasties.

Top tip,

If you’re using the “just eat” app, check the supplying restaurants hygiene rating (on your council website) one of the “Just eats” near us constantly gets 1 or 2 stars. (y)

When we had our takeaway, I went and got it came back put is straight in the oven for about 5 mins so hopefully it will kill off anything on the containers.
Put all the bags in the bin then gave my hands a good wash.

Smug git here! used to live as a child way up on the moors of Saddleworth( yes THOSE moors) and we had a siege mentality ! We would often in the 1950, and 60's be snowed in for upto 10 weeks at at time! So Mum always used to plan meals about three months in advance, we had an Uncle who was on the management at Heinz in Kitt Green(Wigan) and used ti get dessicated veg in blocks that only need water to re conatuites

Maybe a thread giving your take-away style recipes away for inspiration?
(waiting for someone to tell me there is one now :) )

I do a mean shish kebab with homemade flat bread and a chilli sauce that is lethal
Also a pretty good fried chicken, a slow cooked Chicken Tikka Masala and a slow cooked Beef Madras for the brave :)

Also a few quick Tapas dishes.

I've never lived in a place where you could get a takeaway delivered, its something I do from time to time when away with work (them were the days) mostly because its such a novelty.

That bats seriously overdone, and your meant to eat them with your fingers

You are keeping them to yourselves aren’t you! Another scare tactic to make sure you get your supplies.

Shouldn’t that be “ supplies, supplies “

I find it really easy despite the shops having no stock.

Last night we had ink cartridge casserole and a 4 pack of socks.
I would've indicated that I loved that reply,,, but I dont know how to do that???!

Go on. Admit it.

Although they do deliver don’t think they will to me :( it was 36 miles round trip to pickup my takeaway but that was just before the lockdown so I don’t think I could class that as essential travel now:(:(
Have a takeaway just down the road that is acceptable food but not in the same class as the one in Arundel.

Is this an April Fool? Can you still have takeaways delivered in the UK?
