Having spent much time researching on here, elsewhere and talking with mechanics, it’s time for my 19 year old van to have some rear suspension tlc. Have decided to replace the springs, leaving possible air bag assist til a later date. My question is, replace with original or upgraded? How may leaves in the spring?

Over to you guys.
Thanks in advance.

I have two leafs fitted as std and fitted air bags today.
stopped a lot of the rocking and movement while inside so both would be the better option.

Thanks sonar unfortunately it’s on or other at the moment, and for a while, and the springs gotta go but I appreciate your experience and feedback EE the combo 👍🏻👍🏻

leave the springs as they are ….
I would go for the air bags then having just fitted some I can’t believe its more stable it’s made the Moho. More comfortable while moving about inside.
and you can always inflate the pressure and it seems there is even lass movement .

our van is a 2003 so it’s now 17 years old and now had its upgrade and I am so pleased with it and have not yet given it a road test.

I also thought about replacing the springs .
