We are sat here hypothesising about what we should be doing once Xmas is over, we've seen the G/ kids and want to get out and about......... not sure that we would want to be sat down in Spain with average daytime and cool evening temperatures, but, where do other people venture to for a change, bit of nice weather and a relaxing time ?????

How Perceptive of you !!!!!
Click the see more button. I was having a laugh. It was a bit too early for the "Too early for christmas" memes.

Understand, but, SWMBO has to have everything planned to the n'th degree...... currently in France and on our way home for Medical reasons, then can't get about for 6 - 8 weeks, so are then away early Sept and back end of Oct France and Spain, but........... Jan has to be planned !!!!!........ Was going to explain what dates I'm down for sex, but...... thats exaggerating !!!!

Never mind Christmas our son was here for lunch today and was talking about our September trip. We always have a week away in September.
I assumed he meant this year which seemed odd because it’s all planned and booked. He was talking about next year !!!! . Because our daughter gets married next September he wanted to get our trip organised before her wedding takes over.
I think he might have a point because daughter has already started as our bank balance will testify.

We always used to go away at Xmas until my mum died 5 years ago so my Step Dad always comes to us now for Xmas, we adopted his dog as he couldn't cope so he comes over for bacon sarnies on Sunday mornings and to see the dog. Sandringham in Norfolk was the place we went to though, Her Majesty insisted :giggle:(y)
