towing for 20 odd years but now have our first motorhome.
We have an omnistore 4000 awning with a broken rear end cap. If anyone has one for sale, is breaking an omnistore 4000 or has a complete awning for sale I would be interested in purchasing it. any suggestions welcome. Thanks for looking
Bill

The front one on my fiamma awning was looking very shabby and potted from insect / tree branch impact so I'm just giving it a makeover to last a bit longer.
I had hoped they were available from fiamma as an accessory but not checked yet.

Not sure what part u need but if it is just the end cap cover I replaced mine ebay £16.

cheers kelv, I have been looking on ebay and tried various other avenues without success. However I will persevere with ebay. thanks for your comment it has given me hope!!!

have you asked Rose Awnings in Poole? they are omnistore agents / fitters, would think they will be able to get a part if available (y)

Google "Fiamma awning spares". As far as I could tell when I needed parts for mine everything was available.

I tried Rose Awnings but they said they could not get old Thule/Omnistore spares. Said they stopped fitting them in the late 1980s?
DavidG58 you are correct Omnistore were taken over by Thule. I will just have to keep trying and keep my eyes open. The awning works okay but the end cap is cracked.
Thanks for the answers everyone

thanks David, unfortunately they are not the same. I asked Rose Awning if any other end cap would fit and they said it would not. I don't understand why they would have made all the mouldings different, surely from a financial point of view it would have made sense to make them the same as far as possible. So - just keep searching I guess,
thanks again.

Just a thought, I am well known for my lack of technical ability, this end cap could be a classic for me, even if I found the right one it would then sit in the garage unfitted as I wouldn't have a clue how to get the old one off :)(y)

If its only a crack Bill, get a place that repairs bumpers to plastic weld it. or buy a cheap diy kit from ebay and have a play. its a while since I last did a plastic weld, but its pretty simple and an untidy weld can be cleaned up with a dremel

Thanks John, I will follow that one up and let you know how it goes.

I appreciate your search on my behalf. It may be you could find something that will fit by looking someplace I had not thought of.
