Old Leisure Batteries

So, what do you people do with your old duff leisure batteries?
Take it to the local tip?
Take it to a scrapyard?

Yep…20 squidly’s each I got for two of my old ones…

You'll get dosh for them from a scrappy, but you'll need some form of id and your bank details as they don't (by law) hand over cash anymore.

I used one with the air compressor which I keep in the garage, handy for the van and car.

I asked today at my local metal breakers and they quoted me 47p per kg, I seem to have accumulated 9 batteries and each must be 15-20kg so almost will pay for 1 of the three new ones I've just brought.

Like All the other we weigh them in and at 25kg each and 45p/kg it's better in my pocket rather than taking them to the dump
