Ok, I’m Flummoxed, Where’s Me Horn Located - 2006 Ducato

I want to upgrade the horn on the van to something with a bit more umph, but I can’t locate it, which is pretty nuts, but there we have it.

I‘ve tried to sound it and run outside, but by the time I get around the front, it’s gone off and I’m in the storage yard so there’s no one to ask…….soooooo have any of you changed yours?

2006 Ducato 2.8JTD, the good looking van

Any ideas please gang, or even better if there’s pictures. I know it’s camouflaged on the near side somewhere, but I don’t want to start stripping bits away until I know where the little tinker is.

Put you head under the bonnet anD get somebody to sound it, after you’ve banged your head a few times you’ll put up with what you have.

Pesky little buggar, couldn’t do the sounding thingy as I’m on me tod, but I’m going to do a front end tidy and change headlights as mine are rubbish 🕯 so I took the nearside one off and it’s there, all proud and laughing at me.
I can also clean the cross member and spray to seal it from further corrosion before putting the new lights on.

Defo wouldn’t see it from below

And heat shrink those connections, twice mine corroded on my 02 ducato. Its also useful to know now how to access the water pump for the windscreen washers, another job easy to do when you know how. My (black plastic) front bumper is easy to take off so hopefully yours is too.
