Hopefully,it will tell you in the handbook, most of them do. If you haven’t got the handbook,I think it’s worth getting one.

I just ordered some off Amazon yesterday. Attached is the extract from the Fiat manual for our 2019 Adria Ducato. 👍

thank you. I asked on here as I'm aware the manual says 0-30 As indeed mine does, and others have reported that some dealers have said 5-30 and even 5-40, which I tried with my 2006 fiat based bolero, and for the record with 5-40 in, my mpg dropped by almost 5 miles per gallon. Anyway, I wanted to see what others thought. I'm pretty sure my current fiat has got 5-30/40 in as mpg is disappointing but it's hard to be sure with current circumstances. I am also curious about the spec of the 0-30 as we don't need long life oil as we often do oil changes of 5000 miles or less. I am a firm believer of 12 month oil changes regardless of mileage. I was reading in the volumous manual that adverse work needs more regular services as opposed to the theoretical 12-20000 miles services for a normal platform van doing high yearly mileages but lighter workloads of 50% full where of course a Motorhome is permanently working on 90-100% payload., with accompianing mpg. When I first bought my first motor home many years ago I was disappointed to see that most Motorhome builders choose a fiat based platform as I am a fan of Mercedes and ford as a workhorse. But the truth is that the fiat is the most economical engine out there by far. Whilst us Brit's like our transits, fiat sells more ducatos worldwide than any other company by far . A Ferrari it ain't, but I have to say an oil change is an absolute doddle to do on a ducato.

Type of oil is very specific for Euro6 engines. Make sure you get the right specification.

Thank you - I'm looking into that as we speak, I saw a huge number on the manual but not sure how to relate that , I know it's acea 2. 0-30

yes Ninja - your spot on - 0w-30 9.55535-ds1
carparts4less AND euro car parts its sister company shows it it WRONGLY and happily specifies 5w-30 non 9.55535-ds1 spec even if you put your reg in -
however opie gets it right so you know.. DS1 =DIESELS GS1=PETROL
ALSO, fiat stated its backwards compatible too with older engines

and incase anybody is wondering , 0w-30 allows quicker revs and better economy, i will be doing the oil change this afternoon before it rains again :)
